Experts predicted 2016 would be the year of live streaming video, and when Walmart live streamed their deals on Cyber Monday, it was another confirmation of this prediction.
Powered by Brandlive, Walmart broadcast one of the longest live video eCommerce events in history: a four-hour stream featuring tech, toys and everything in between. The Walmart LIVE! Cyber Monday event is still available on archive for viewing.
So far the event has received over 335,000 views, and even the Mashable team was watching. They discussed the live stream event in their article, Walmart is live-streaming Cyber Monday, and we can't look away.
This was the second year in a row that Walmart live streamed on Cyber Monday. They use the Brandlive interactive video platform to demo products and interact with customers in real time, with social media integration and Buy Now buttons right on the video page.
